What is Releasing Eagles about?

Releasing Eagles empowers young people, to discover their purpose, embrace their uniqueness and grow in every area of life. Through safe spaces, strategic partnerships and workshops, we nurture dreams and inspire authentic leadership.

Do I need prior mentoring experience?

No, prior experience is not required. However, if you are already a mentor or have mentoring experience, that’s a bonus. What matters most is your commitment, willingness to learn and serve a young person.

Is a Police Clearance Certificate required?

Yes, you can still apply. If your Police Clearance Certificate is currently pending, simply select the “Pending Results” option on the Releasing Eagles Mentor Application Form. This allows us to process your application while you await the outcome. Once your Police Clearance Certificate is issued, you’ll be able to upload it to complete your application.

Who can be a mentor?

Anyone 21+ who’s passionate about guiding young people and ready to commit to a 24-month journey of impact.

Who are the mentees?

Young people in Grade 8–12, some in university or recently out of school—ready to grow, learn and be guided through life’s next steps.

What is the time commitment for mentors?

Mentors commit to a 24-month journey, including regular check-ins, training and programme activities.

What support will I get as a mentor?

You’ll receive exclusive training, resources and ongoing guidance, plus join a community of passionate mentors.
