I’m K’Lynn Goliath, the daughter of Micheal and Priscilla Goliath and the eldest daughter of four children, two older brothers and a younger sister. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Industrial Psychology, March 2014.
I’ve completed my B.Com Honours degree at The University of The Western Cape. I did my internship at The Artscape Theatre in Cape Town and am currently employed at one of the big four accounting firms in Cape Town. During my free time I enjoy having “me-time” but also taking risks, trying out new things that makes me feel like I am living life.My mentoring journey with RE and Candice specifically, who is my mentor, has been a defining life experience for me so far, and it continues to be a refining process. A process of love and assistance that continuously helps me unlock and reach my true and full potential. As a result of my mentoring journey I saw the significance of paying it forward and making sure that another young lady is presented with the same unique opportunity like I was. My life took a whole new trajectory when I entered into a mentorship relationship with my mentor. I grew more and more confident and had someone who’m I could sound board with when I had to make important decisions with regards to my studies and career. With the necessary knowledge, equipment and training, I now have the privilege of mentoring another beautiful soul. One of the greatest lessons I have learned on this journey called life is “If you stand for nothing you will fall for everything” and that statement right there kept me grounded and helped me persevere against all odds. Im proud to say that I have successfully completed the mentorship programme and now too serve as a mentor to a young lady. It is one of the most fulfilling experiences for me.
