Meet a Mentee called Faith

My names Faith Neutt, a 15-year-old teenager. I attend Rylands High School in Cape Town and currently in Grade 10. My extramural activities include swimming; rugby and baking – I am a member of the University of Western Cape (UWC) Aquatics Team; I play rugby for my school and in my downtime, I enjoy baking which allows me to unwind.

I joined Releasing Eagles in 2017, as a mentee and thus far discovered things about myself that were hidden and now learnt how to unleash my strengths and see my weaknesses as stepping stones.

Furthermore, my career aspirations after school are to further my studies in Forensic Pathology at the University of Cape Town (UCT) or join the South African Military, who knows perhaps I’ll consider doing it simultaneously.

As a born-free teenager, I strive to live by Mahatma Gandhi’s words “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

I am expectant about my mentee journey, which allows me to discover more about myself and develop into the women I am destined to be.

Thank you Releasing Eagles for the wonderful opportunity.

Faith Neutt
